Cautionary Tales For Children - Uni Project

For a recent uni project, we worked in groups producing a full book document for an anthology of poems - Cautinoary Tales for Children by Hilaire Beloc. We selected 5 of the poems and created a book illustrating them. My role was primarily in selecting colour palettes to depict the mood of the book, as well as illustrating and organising the page layout for the poem "Matilda". We aimed for a gothic theatre aesthetic to unite the book's poems together, leaning into the dramatic and harshly lit imagery.
